The abbrivated name of the Ethiopian Democratic Part, Edepa is  so widely used that it might be necessary to consider to change even the english abbrivation, EDP to Edepa.. I do not see any problem in this minor change. It would rather eliminate confussion and create simplicity. The MEISON, though notorious, has been using the abbrivated Amharic name in english. The Derg used to be refered by its Amharic name, Dergue which is not an abbrivation.

I suggest that Edepa be refered as Edepa in all languges.

I prefer it to be E.DE.PA rather than Edepa. If it is E.DE.PA it will have the meaning both in English and in Amharic too.
