Addis Ababa, November 29, 2011 (Addis Ababa) - The Annual Joint Forum of political parties was held here on Tuesday.

The forum had reached consensus after holding an in-depth discussion on issues of national interest.

The members of the Forum have approved the establishment of Political Parties' Joint Forum at Woreda, Zonal and Regional levels.

Consensus has also been reached among the members of the Forum that the establishment of the Forum should be further be consolidated as it would ensure the rights of political parties to be heard.

The members have also agreed to further strengthen discussion among political parties through media.

The ruling party, the Ethiopian Peoples Revolutionary Democratic Front, the Ethiopian Democratic Party, Kinijit, the Ethiopian Visionary Party, the Ethiopian Peace and Democratic Party and All Ethiopians National Movement, among others, took part in today's session.
